Decluttering & Organising in Mayfair &n Marylebone

No judgement. Sustainable systems. Calm support.

Mayfair and Marylebone are two of London's most refined addresses, and two very different ones. Mayfair is defined by its Georgian townhouses, the grand apartments overlooking Grosvenor Square, and properties that have been in private hands or corporate use for generations. Marylebone, just to the north, has a more village-like quality: independent shops on the high street, mansion blocks and period conversions on the residential streets, and a quieter, more domestic feel despite the W1 postcode. In both cases, the properties are typically lateral, well-appointed, and short on storage by any practical measure.

Clients in Mayfair and Marylebone often have sophisticated, well-curated homes on the surface, with a more complex reality behind the scenes, such as artwork, inherited pieces, wardrobes that have outgrown their space, and the particular challenge of managing significant belongings in a high-value property where everything needs to be handled with appropriate care.

Order from Chaos provides professional decluttering and organising services in Mayfair and Marylebone, with individual, face-to-face sessions at £45 per hour and virtual sessions available from £75. White-glove, bespoke home move management is also available.

Does This Sound Like You?

You might be:

A time-poor professional or family who is drowning in clutter and unable to see the wood for the trees, or overwhelmed whenever you think about starting to declutter and fearful of failure. You might also be living with ADHD/ASD, chronic illness, perimenopause, or burnout and need support to work through the clutter at your pace. You might be preparing for a move, needing to unpack after a move, preparing for a renovation, or welcoming a new baby. I can help.

Whether you're in Mayfair, Marylebone Village, or the streets around Regent's Park, the pattern is often similar:

You may have wardrobes containing a working wardrobe, a formal wardrobe, and several decades of 'maybes', or your home office may have stacks of paperwork from multiple businesses or investments.

Your guest rooms and dressing rooms may have become overflow storage rather than functional spaces, and it's a challenge to even get through the door, or your kitchens may have professional-grade equipment but very little working space under all the clutter.

You may also have seasonal and luxury items that need a proper system rather than a dumping ground, so that they are looked after properly.

How Sessions Work

You choose either a 4-hour or 7-hour session. Individual in-person sessions cost £45 per hour. In a typical session, we:

  • Discuss what areas you want to tackle and work out a plan of action for the session

  • Categorise your belongings and go through them systematically to decide what stays and what goes - this is the decluttering bit

  • Work out what storage solutions work for you - this is the organising bit

No judgement, no pressure, no forcing.

Why I Am Right For You

Before founding Order from Chaos, I worked in humanitarian emergency response, working for the UK Government, the United Nations and as CEO of an NGO. For that work, I was awarded an OBE and an Honorary Doctorate. I have both ASD and ADHD (AuDHD), diagnosed in 2023 and 2025.

What that means for you is simple:

  • I have many years of experience in working to create order from chaos

  • I understand executive dysfunction

  • I love putting in storage solutions and putting labels on boxes

  • I bring ADHD-friendly / neurodivergent-friendly approaches to my work with you, whether you are neurotypical or neurodivergent. I find the approach works for both types of brain, and also perimenopausal ones too.

For me, the decluttering part needs to be sustainable. I like to donate to charity as much as possible, and repair items if I can. I have a local Repair Cafe that I attend to try and give a second life to broken items.

For donations, post session and when time permits, I like to donate to Barnado's in George Street, Oxfam and Cancer Research on the High Street

Marylebone properties ooze personality, with listed features, quirky and at times awkward staircases, and rooms that don't conform to what removal teams expect. Mayfair brings different priorities: discretion, efficiency, and a move that happens without drama or an audience.

What I offer covers both. I visit the old property and the new one before anything is packed, plan how the space will work, and liaise directly with your removal company throughout. The packing is handled properly. The unpacking is done to a standard where everything is in its place and the home functions- not provisionally functional, actually functional- before I leave.

No boxes stacked in corners for you to deal with later. No outstanding decisions pushed to next week. If you'd like to talk through what a turnkey service managing your move looks like in practice, a 15-minute discovery call is where to start.
