Do I Need Both Decluttering and Organising in the Session?
Yes, probably. Decluttering is reducing your belongings until they are manageable, and I often find too many belongings in my clients' homes. Organising is creating easy systems for what you decide to keep.
Most clients need both decluttering and organising. After the decluttering is done, systems can be put in place to store and organise what is left. Functional, practical systems that help you and your family to organise and stay organised
You choose either a 4-hour or 7-hour session. In a typical session we:
Have a chat about which space is troubling you most and on which you want to focus
Categorise your belongings so we know exactly how much/many of each category you have
Work through each category systematically to reduce how much/may of each category you will keep
Work out how to store or organise what is left
Implement solutions that work for your brain

I have always been good at creating order from chaos. Before founding Order from Chaos, I spent over two decades working in humanitarian emergency management for NGOs, governments, the Red Cross and the United Nations. For that work, I was awarded an OBE and an Honorary Doctorate for this work. I have ASD and ADHD (AuDHD).

Wherever and whenever possible I will seek to rehome your belongings so that they can have a second life. If I think an item can be fixed, I will take it to the local Repair Cafe to see if they can get it working again.
