Decluttering & Organising in Epsom and Ewell

Help For Your Epsom and Ewell home

Epsom and Ewell sit at the northern edge of Surrey, close enough to London for a straightforward commute and far enough to feel like proper suburbia, with wide residential roads, parks, and housing stock that leans heavily towards the interwar period. The 1930s semi is the defining property type here: bay-fronted, pebble-dashed or rendered, with a garage to one side and a garden that seemed perfectly manageable when the family moved in. The spaces are generous by London standards, which is both a comfort and a trap; there's always another cupboard, another corner of the loft, another drawer in the garage.

Epsom and Ewell attract stable, settled households, professionals, families, and long-term residents who've been in the same house for many years. The accumulation is typically steady and quiet, the kind that doesn't feel like a problem until suddenly every surface is working harder than it should.

Order from Chaos provides professional decluttering and organising across Epsom and Ewell with a kind, non-judgemental, ADHD-friendly approach, working at a pace that fits your life and your brain. Individual, face-to-face sessions are £45 per hour, and virtual sessions are available from £75.

No judgement. Sustainable systems. Calm support.

Does this Sound Like Your Home?

Whether you're in Epsom or Ewell themselves, Cheam, Banstead, Tadworth, Ashtead, Leatherhead, or Sutton, the pattern is often similar: family homes where every room has a different clutter problem, wardrobes and dressing rooms stuffed with clothes you don't wear, a garage that hasn't had a car in it for years, a home office buried under paperwork, and a loft that's a complete no-go zone. You might be a time-poor professional wanting more time with family and less time looking for your keys, overwhelmed by clutter that's stopping you from sleeping easily, living with disability, ADHD/ASD, chronic illness, perimenopause, or burnout, or preparing for downsizing, moving, renovating, or a new baby.

How Does It Work?

Sessions are a minimum of four hours, up to seven hours per visit, at £45 an hour. We reduce what's weighing the house down first, then build routines that genuinely fit a busy Surrey family's week. During the session we:

  • Talk through the challenges you have with your spaces

  • Decide what we can reasonably achieve in that session

  • Reduce your belongings until you are left with the items that matter most

  • Store these away so that you can find them easily whenever you need them

No judgement, no pressure, no forcing. You're in control; I just help you achieve your goals.

Calm, experienced support — without judgement

Prior to founding Order from Chaos, I worked for governments, the United Nations and NGOs responding to humanitarian emergencies such as earthquakes, tsunamis and hurricanes worldwide. I was awarded an OBE and an Honorary Doctorate for this work. I have ASD and ADHD (AuDHD), diagnosed in 2023 and 2025.

What my work and late neurodivergence diagnosis means for you is simple:

  • I've had years of experience developing systems that work for a brain that works differently

  • I can now use that experience to help you do the same

  • I've had executive dysfunction, so I won't judge yours

  • I bring ADHD-friendly / neurodivergent-friendly approaches to my work with you.

  • I also offer perimenopause-friendly services for those going through the brain fog that part of life brings

What clients say

Thank you so much Jo! It’s been a real pleasure having you help us sort out our home as we settle back in. We’re getting there, and you’ve done a brilliant job — your calm, no-judgement approach made such a difference for our neurodivergent family. We felt completely at ease throughout, which isn’t always easy to find. Highly recommend Jo to anyone who needs a compassionate, practical hand with their space.

I'm such a regular at my local charity shops now, they all know me by name, and that is a good thing. It means I am able to give the items you choose to let go of a second life. Not only will someone else get joy from the things that no longer serve you, but a charity will also benefit.

I will always try to donate your charity-worthy items locally, including Oxfam, British Heart Foundation, Scope and Cancer Research UK on the High Street, or Princess Alice Hospice at the Horton Retail Centre.
