Decluttering & Organising in Cobham & Esher

No judgement. Sustainable systems. Calm support.

Transform your Space

Cobham and Esher sit at the heart of the Surrey commuter belt and consistently rank among the most affluent areas in the country. The housing stock reflects this, with substantial detached homes set back from tree-lined roads, large gardens, and properties that have often been extended, renovated, and added to over many years. These are homes with space, but space has a way of filling up; and when a house has five or six bedrooms, three reception rooms, a garage, and a loft, the accumulation can reach a significant scale before it becomes impossible to ignore.

Many clients in Cobham and Esher are managing homes that have hosted a full family lifecycle, with children who have grown and left, decades of belongings, and, in some cases, the added complexity of a partner's or parent's estate folded into the mix. The challenge is often less about chaos and more about an enormous volume of decisions that keep getting deferred.

Order from Chaos provides professional decluttering and organising across Cobham and Esher and the surrounding area with a kind, non-judgemental, ADHD-friendly approach, working at a pace that fits your life and your brain. Individual, face-to-face sessions are £45 per hour, and virtual sessions are available from £75.

Does this Sound Like Home?

Whether you're in Cobham or Esher itself, Claygate, Oxshott, Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames, Hersham, or Leatherhead, the pattern tends to repeat: large family homes where clutter has spread room by room, wardrobes and dressing rooms stuffed with clothes you don't wear, garages and outbuildings turned into permanent storage, home offices that are embarrassing on video calls, and guest rooms that have become dumping grounds. You might be a time-poor professional or family, or part of the sandwich generation looking after kids and parents at once, overwhelmed and suffering from decision paralysis, living with ADHD/ASD, disability, chronic illness, perimenopause, or burnout, or preparing for a move, renovation, new baby, or downsizing.

What a Decluttering and Organising Session Involves

Decluttering is systematically deciding what items continue to stay in your home, and organising is creating systems that help you maintain order with what stays.

Most clients need both decluttering and organising: because organising without decluttering does not solve the real problem. So, together we clear the excess, then set up simple systems you can maintain easily

Sessions start from four- or seven-hour sessions, for £45 an hour.

Moving to Cobham or Esher?

Moving in Cobham and Esher frequently means larger properties, more to manage, and a move that benefits from proper coordination rather than being left to unfold on the day.

I manage the process from the ground up, visiting both the old and new properties in advance, planning the layout and storage in the new home before a single box is packed, liaising directly with your removal company, and overseeing packing and unpacking throughout. The result is a home that's organised and functional when the job is done, not one that needs another month of evenings to finish sorting.

To talk through what this looks like for your move specifically, book a 15-minute discovery call or find out more on the Home Move Management page.

Why Me?

My career before this involved working in emerging markets in investment banking, for the UK Government in humanitarian response, and as a charity CEO. As a consultant, I worked for the United Nations, governments and NGOs, in over two decades of high-pressure humanitarian crisis management. This work was recognised with an OBE and an Honorary Doctorate.

I didn't know it at the time, but I have ADHD and am autistic, so I'm AuDHD. Many say that neurodivergent people have a strong sense of social justice and are good in a crisis.

What that means for you is simple:

  • When things feel too much for you, I can support

  • When decisions are difficult, I can help you break through

  • I bring an ADHD-friendly / neurodivergent-friendly lens to my work with you, using my lived experience and understanding of the executive dysfunction that can lead to chronic disorganisation, and channelling my autism to create ordered systems that are practical, logical and functional.

  • I am also post-menopause, meaning that I also understand the brain fog that can affect our everyday decisions.

I love what I do, and it shows in the way I work with clients. Read more about my background on the About page.

If there is still life left in your items, I will always try to rehome them in a sustainable manner. I can take some with me at the end of the day and/or arrange for some to be collected from your door.

Esher High Street has a Cancer Research UK shop. Cobham and Oxshott have fewer options of their own, but Leatherhead and Walton-on-Thames are close by, with a wider range including Oxfam and the British Heart Foundation.
