Decluttering & Organising in Cobham & Esher

Who this is for

You might be:

A time-poor professional or family or a sandwich generation, looking after both your kids and your parents

Overwhelmed and suffering from decision paralysis, and you just can't work out what to do next

Living with ADHD/ASD, disability, chronic illness, perimenopause, or burnout and feeling the strain of a body or brain that isn't quite playing ball with your organisational aims

Preparing for a move, renovation, new baby, or downsizing, all of which are stressful in their own right before you even start to contemplate the clutter

How sessions work (4 or 7 hours at £45/hour)

You choose either a 4-hour or 7-hour session. In a typical session we:

  • Agree the outcome for the day (e.g., 'functional kitchen', 'calm bedroom', 'paperwork triage')

  • Sort fast, keeping decision fatigue in mind

  • Create storage and 'homes' that match your habits

  • Reset the space so it's usable immediately

  • Plan the next small step so progress sticks

No judgement, no pressure, no forcing. You stay in control of decisions, I bring structure, momentum and calm.

Common Scenarios in Cobham & Esher Homes

Whether you’re in Claygate, Oxshott, Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames, Hersham, or Leatherhead, the pattern is often similar:

Large family homes where clutter has spread room by room, creeping into every nook and cranny

Wardrobes and dressing rooms stuffed with clothes you don’t wear, haven't ever worn, don't want, or don't fit you anymore

Garages and outbuildings that have become permanent storage and are not used as they were intended

Home offices that are embarrassing if you don't have the background on in your videoconference call

Guest rooms that have become dumping grounds for the entire family's belongings

Kitchens and utility rooms where cooking is precarious, and the only utilisation of the utility room is as a dumping ground

No judgement. Sustainable systems. Calm support.

Transform your Cobham & Esher home from 'I can't cope' to calm

Cobham and Esher look effortless from the outside: the wide leafy roads, the beautiful houses, the quiet Surrey life. But behind those elegant front doors, many of my clients are quietly struggling with a home that feels chaotic and disorganised, causing tension, frustration and stress.

Whether you’re in Cobham, Esher, Claygate, Epsom, Ewell or Oxshott, the challenge is often the same: a full, busy life has accumulated more stuff than your systems can handle. Order from Chaos provides professional decluttering and organising across Cobham and Esher with a kind, non-judgemental, ADHD-friendly approach, working at a pace that fits your life and your brain.

Decluttering v Organising and Why You Usually Need Both

Decluttering is reducing what's in the way. Organising is creating easy systems for what stays.

Most clients need a blend: we clear the bottlenecks, then set up simple systems you can maintain without constant effort.

Calm, experienced support — without judgement

Before founding Order From Chaos, I spent over two decades leading complex operations in high-pressure, humanitarian crisis management, and I was awarded an OBE and an Honorary Doctorate for this work. I have ASD and ADHD (AuDHD).

What that means for you is simple:

  • When things feel overwhelming, I stay calm

  • When decisions feel impossible, I bring structure

  • When chaos feels personal, I remove shame

  • I bring ADHD-friendly / neurodivergent-friendly approaches to my work with you

You're not hiring someone to judge your home. You're hiring someone trained to bring order to complexity, gently, practically, and at your pace.

Local, Practical Donation Support

At the end of each session, I’ll donate items to the local charity shop(s) you prefer. Popular local options include Princess Alice Hospice, Oxfam, Cancer Research UK, and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.

Please note: Opening times and donation rules can change, so we'll double-check before drop-off.

What clients say

Jo has helped me tackle an overwhelming play room and also my ‘cupboard of doom’ full of kids arts and crafts. Everything has a home and is labelled beautifully!

I will definitely book another session soon.

Thanks Jo!
